Jaromír Dufek - bass guitar

Bass guitar and sometimes a little singing. Born on May 12, 1965 in Zlín. Trained as an electrical mechanic. In 1985-90 he was a member of the band Dělnický Rock in Bolatice near Opava. In 1993, with the band Capitol, he released “almost” his own album, the CD Bránou k věčnosti (1993, Skála-Capitol Records). In 1999-2005, he was in the band Salamandra (Ostrava), with whom he recorded two albums, the CD Skarremar (2000, Leviathan records) and the CD Great Moravian Elegies (2004, Leviathan Records). For a short time (2006), he was in the band Moravius. After moving to South Moravia, in 2009 he became a member of the hard-rock band Starostovi muži. With the change of genre and the transition to English lyrics, the name was also changed to Line Of Sight. The band did not avoid significant personal changes and for some time Jarda also managed the vocals in the band, along with the bass guitar. However, after several seasons, the band broke up during the recording of the debut album. Fortunately, Jarda soon got a place in the band Headfire and was able to continue his rampage on stage. In May 2020, he again accepted a place in the band Moravius, which had a changed lineup. In 2025, he accepted an offer to return to the band Salamandra after almost 20 years. Both bands are matters of his heart and he still plays in them today.
